Marima's Story: What Has Changed
Marima still remembers the day we came to visit her.
Before we arrived, she woke up at 5:00 in the morning and worked on three different farms.
Knowing we would spend the day together, she picked fresh maize and green bell peppers from her garden for us.
That afternoon, nothing burned—the tea was made just as intended, with laughter around the fire.
Today, Marima runs a milk business she started through WRC and is ensuring her children get the education she was denied.
